Ankit Sagwal is co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Aregence, where he is responsible for portfolio management and investment research. Prior to founding Aregence, Ankit was a partner at Kora Capital, where he spent five years developing and managing that firm’s India and Southeast Asia investments. Before that, he worked at the Blackstone Group, as part of their private equity team investing in South Asia, and at McKinsey and Company, where he began his career. Ankit’s education is as a Computer Science major from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and MBA from Stanford GSB.

Rachit Gupta is co-founder and partner at Aregence, where he leads technology investment research for the firm. Prior to founding Aregence, Rachit was an investor at Sequoia Capital, where he spent four years leading private investments in technology companies across India and Southeast Asia. Before that, he was an entrepreneur and co-founded a software company and a consumer-tech company. He began his career in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group and holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Randall Hobbs is the Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Aregence, where he is responsible for the Firm’s non-investment activities. Prior to joining Aregence, Randall was COO of HK-based CSOP Asset Management and Three Stones Capital. Before that, Randall was COO of London-based Liongate Capital for ten years. He began his career in NM Rothschild Australia and Morgan Stanley International, London. Randall holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from University of South Australia and is a Certified Practising Accountant (Australia), 2001.
